CARNIVAL PARADES 

Two parades will hit the streets of St. Bernard Parish this Carnival season.


The Krewe of Gladiators will roll Jan. 26 at 1:30 p.m. with 14 floats and
nearly 160 riders, and the Knights of Nemesis will parade Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.
with more than 400 riders on 20 floats. 

Gladiators will hold a mandatory preparade meeting for members Wednesday at
7 p.m. at Katz Lounge, 3004 Paris Road, Chalmette.

The Knights of Nemesis will hold a social meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at
Daiquiri's "The Shack," 120 Packenham, Chalmette. 

Prospective members are invited. This is the last meeting for new members to
join and ride in this year's parade. Food will be served.
