STUDENTS OF THE YEAR 

The St. Bernard Parish public school district has named its students of the
year. They are: Zeke Keirsey, fifth grade; Sophie Boudreaux, eighth grade;
and Ryan Gregoire, 12th grade. 

Other finalists were: 12th-graders Gary Decossas, Stephanie Garrity and Alex
Wendling; eighth-graders Lilian Hebert and Samantha Ybarzabal; and
fifth-grader Craig Melerine. 

The district annually selects students who excel at academics, leadership
and service to their schools and the community.
