[StBernard] MS-13 Threat Assessment

Com'on. There's no crime in St. Bernard Parish. No gangs possibly around and
no Hispanics to form them. Nor is there in Jefferson or Orleans. Gangs are
like holes around water. They fill the void by rushing in when there's a
need to be involved.

They perpetrate violence, recruit impressionable youth, and form tenuous
alliances and vicious rivalries with other criminal groups. And according to
our recent national threat assessment of this growing street gang, MS-13
could be operating in your community.now or in the near future.
