RE:  IRS Forms and Publications
 
Please take note that due to space limitations the St. Bernard Parish
Library will not be able to stock income tax forms.  We have spoken with the
Chalmette Post Office and were told that they also will not make forms
available to tax filers.  Nunez Community College had tax forms available as
of last week in the library. At the time we spoke to Nunez library staff,
they had only received the first part of the book of reproducible forms.
Also, East Bank Regional Library on W. Napoleon in Metairie has forms
available.
 
Everyone is more than welcome to visit the library's temporary location at
7701 W. Judge Perez Dr.to view forms and or print forms from online sites.
Our hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9-5 and Fri. 9-1.  Wireless access is available
24/7 in the parking lot.  
 
Tax forms are available on a number of sites.  Two commonly used are
www.irs.gov <http://www.irs.gov/>  and www.1040.com <http://www.1040.com/> .
