N.O. man booked with carnal knowledge of Violet girl

A 23-year-old New Orleans man has been booked with carnal knowledge of a
juvenile after allegedly being caught with a 14-year-old girl in Violet, St.
Bernard Parish authorities said.

Kenon Gordon, 23, was booked Monday and remains in St. Bernard Parish Prison
in lieu of $100,000 bond, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office said.

A Sheriff's Office news release said the girl's mother was alerted at work
that a man was with her daughter in their Violet home. The woman came home
and found a man, later identified as Gordon, getting dressed, the news
release said.

Gordon fled the home but was located a short time later at his employer's
home, also in Violet, the Sheriff's Office said.
