In effect, the government is not being effected as much as those who live in
St. Bernard Parish as it is the parish citizens that are giving this
"punitive" free money to the New Orleans "Chocolate City" crowd.

It's a sign of the times that "the end is nigh" believed by some (if not
many).

" . . . perpetuated the parish's history as a segregated, predominantly
white
community. "

One has to wonder how long citizens moving into N'awlins "Predominantly
black community" would have left to live if the reverse housing was
established on Martin Luther King Avenue, etc.?

The parish is yet to suffer the real effects of this decision to keep
undesirables out of the parish with planning. More crime-ridden
neighborhoods can evolve and anything that it entails. Why not just receive
flotillas from Castro's bunch (emptying the prisons in Havana) and fill up
the neighborhoods?? Why not just give free rent to the underclass (i.e.
those without "class") and help fill up St. Bernard Parish's population for
governmental grants and socialized "gimmees"?

Oh, the horrors, Oh, the humanity!" (resonated with the impact of the
Hindenburg dirigible disaster of May 3, 1937).

Oh, loving St. Bernard. There goes its citizens $152,271.92 in needed
tax-payer's hard earned money to N'awlins GNOFHAC (they needed the $$$ as
well, so why not rob it from a neighboring parish?
