E.G. politics is what it is. 

Some have been led to believe that politics for some time is like this:
Government leaders are not always the leading force in how a parish is run.
At times there are forces that actually are influential in running
government, not the elected officials. This is not new, nor is it privy to
St. Bernard. Huge amounts of money in the hands of non-leaders are variables
in how a parish evolves. We all know this--so this concept is not foreign to
us all either. At times backroom deals. (ask some who were there in the back
room to confirm this.).

Remember the saying? --$$$$ talks and Bull$$$$ walks? 

One thing IS certain. The populace is not stupid in this matter. They
realize. How they react is key to how the future continues its course.

Westley why not build hospital in the middle of the parish.  Politacs not
like before but much worst.  St. Bernard was a very proud Parish but not any
more.   E. G.
