Veronica Resident,

I'd like to co-miserate with you. I have so many complaints about trash,
pools, fallen trees, debris, dumping, damaged utilites poles, high grass,
water leaks, stinking smells coming from empty houses etc,,,. I have called
the parish complaints department more times than I can count. Nothing ever
gets done. It's no different than when Junior was in charge. Parish
workers will give you an item number and then you begin the endless wait for
nothing to happen. If you call the parish to follow up (after nothing
happens) they will tell you it takes time to go through the "process". No
one knows how long "the process" takes or when you can expect results or
improvement. I hate to be negative, and I don't want to be negative, but
progress is at a snails pace in the parish and this is the reality. The
promises of faster and better progress have not materalized.
