There is a pile of debris across the street from my home in Oak Ridge. Is it
possible to have FEMA remove this via my request or does the home owner have
to call himself (I have no way of getting in touch with him)? If so, what is
the contact info?

> CHALMETTE, La. -- Less than two weeks shy of the third

> anniversary of

> Hurricane Katrina, the final FEMA-funded collection of

> storm debris in St.

> Bernard Parish is under way.

> Although the Federal Emergency Management Agency has agreed

> must make their requests before September 15.

> Damage from the hurricane, and the massive flooding that

> followed it, was

> extremely heavy in St. Bernard Parish. All but two

> buildings in the parish

> flooded after the August 29, 2005 storm.
