"SUNDAY IN THE PARK"
CONCERT SERIES BEGINS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH 

 

This Sunday, September 7th will begin the first "Sunday in the Park" Concert
Series featuring "Bobby Cure and the Summertime Blues". The "free" outdoor
afternoon concert will be held at the Amphitheater in Sidney Torres Park
from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm. The Amphitheater is located next to the newly
rebuilt Children's Community Playground behind the St. Bernard Civic
Auditorium, 8245 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, LA. 

 

The concert series schedule is as follows:

September 7th "Bobby Cure and the Summertime Blues" 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

September 14th "Abita Blues" 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

September 28th "Carlos Sanchez" - Spanish Guitar 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

 "August Rush" 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The community is invited to come out to relax and enjoy the music on Sunday
afternoons in September at Torres Park with their friends and families.

The Concert Series is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of
the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation
and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as
administered by the St. Tammany Arts Commission, St. Tammany Parish.
