Housing Fair to be held Friday, Oct. 3 in the St. Bernard Parish Council
Chambers

 

A Housing Fair will be held Friday, Oct. 3 in the St. Bernard Parish Council
Chambers to give people information about home ownership programs and
resources.

 

There will be two sessions in the chambers at 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive in
Chalmette. The first session will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the
second one will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. 

 

The event sponsored by the Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans will
include representatives from that group as well as officials from several
financial institutions.

 

There will be information about programs and resources, such as first time
homebuyer programs, financial fitness classes, tips about renovating and
rebuilding, credit and debt counseling, construction management services,
foreclosure prevention and reverse mortgage counseling. 

 

This event is open to the public and to all St. Bernard Parish employees.
