When you spoke of dumb Americans I believe you were mostly referring to liberals.
Many years ago it was said that liberals operate on one brain,not one each, just on ONE brain. While Conservatives disagree at times, liberals hardly ever do. Liberals always agree that they want to destroy the unborn/pre-born.
As for the media attacking Sarah Palin they also attacked Dan Quayle. Of course, he  spelled potato incorrectly but real Americans didn't believe you had to win a spelling bee to become vice president. So, if things hold true the constant attacks by the media will only help McCain/Palin. Only God knows.
