The hotel motel tax item is viewable at the LA secretary of state web site. Or at the courthouse or the registrar of voters. I will have it posted on the sbpg.net site today. No hidden components. Just a 2 percent fee to overnight lodging bills to be used only for tourism related activities

This does not come out of any business person's pocket. The 2 percent is passed through from the lodge to the taxing authority to tourism
