[StBernard] Democracy in Danger

WRONG! This is specifically what I am NOT talking about. I am very familiar
with this case you point out. Bob, let me CLEARLY spell out for you the
DIFFERECE.

In the case of the Dem-wits, EACH PERSON WHO REGISTERED to vote was NOT the
person they claimed to be. Meaning, not only the person registering them to
vote, but the person signing the voter registration card was knowingly
committing voter fraud. Each and every person involved in the process knew
they were committing a crime. Now, let's switch to Mark Jacoby's case.

What Jacoby did was rally legal individuals to properly register to vote.
Each person he got to register was in fact the REAL person they claimed to
be. So, where was Jacoby's crime? He wasn't properly QUALIFIED to get
people registered outside of the voting precinct to which he lived.

What most people aren't aware of is you can only be deputized or approved to
assist someone to register only in the voting precinct where you live. In
some states its expanded to the county where you live, but never state-wide.
In short, Jacoby was putting down incorrect or false residency information
to get himself approved to find new registrees.

So, let's look at this in review. All he did was "overstep" he precinct
bounds in registering people. He first had each person he registered
confirm who they were and the newly registered person was not
"impersonating" someone else, particularly a dead person, as pointed out in
the article Westley's posted.

So Bob, all Jacoby was guilty of was overzealous registering - specifically
registering people to vote outside of his own precinct. Oh, but you say
"what about all these SUPPOSED people who spoke to the L.A. Times claiming
they were DUPED into registering Republican?" Well, it's amazing that a
couple of weeks later when it came time to actually press charges and
prosecute Jacoby, none of these "supposed duped signees" would come forward
to legally testify for the record. Hmmm? Gee, could it be maybe the L.A.
Times (who are part of the drive-by media and Obama endorser) might have
"made up" or exaggerated the part about all the supposed people claiming
they were tricked into registering to vote. And let us not forgot these
people were free to go forward and vote however they wished. They weren't
going to the polls posing as someone else to vote for a specific party or
candidate.

Also, PLEASE NOTE that NONE of the people who signed claimed Jacoby asked
them to register under a false name. Hmmm, now who was it that's famous for
doing that??? Oh yeah, ACORN. Who I might add in all the millions of people
(both alive and dead) they've registered, not one ever registered as a
Republican. Hmmmm.

I stand by my earlier claim and the question I posed. Anybody else out
there with a REAL example of voter fraud by a Republican?

John

P.S. Since Jacoby was a duly certified deputy registrar in his county
precinct, it's been learned the charge against him is only a misdemeanor for
registering voters in the wrong precinct, but even those charge will likely
be dropped since Jacoby and his parents say they can produce documents such
as car notes and other bills that come to their address, making him legal to
register there in order to become approved to register others to vote. The
D.A. Office of Los Angeles County states they are reconsidering the charges.
Hmmmmm! Could this have been BOGUS all along?

Voter fraud should always be prosecuted.
