I saw a site online where a guy tested a 20 gauge shotgun with #3 buckshot
and he did the "milk bottle test", i.e. how many milk bottles filled with
water will the shot go thru.  A 20 gauge with that ammo when thru 4 filled
milk bottles!  Surely enough to stop someone (that's what the gun was
recommended for-home invaders) but so messy that the walls get completely
ruined probably like a 12 gauge would do!
