[StBernard] St. Bernard to collect Christmas trees Monday

St. Bernard Parish Christmas trees will be picked up Monday

Unflocked trees with no ornaments will be used for wetland restoration

 

St.  Bernard Parish residents should put their Christmas trees curbside this
week. They will be picked up Monday, Jan. 12, and unflocked, clean trees
will be gathered to be used for wetland restoration projects.

 

To be used in the wetlands, the trees must not be flocked; they must be
cleaned of any ornaments, lights or tinsel. Also, they can not have their
stands connected or be in bags.
