Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball for St. Bernard Youth

St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department hosts ball for high school students

 

 

A Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball will be held on Friday, February 20 in the
Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center Ballroom, 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive in
Chalmette.  The event begins at 8 p.m. and will end at 12 a.m.  Formal
attire is required and masks are encouraged.

 

The Ball is for all high school students that reside in St. Bernard Parish
and their dates.  Music will be provided by a DJ and a King and Queen will
be crowned.  Students will nominate their peers for King and Queen during
their lunch hour and the final vote will be taken at the entrance of the
Ball to determine the King and Queen.

 

Tickets for the event will be sold during lunch at Chalmette High School and
C.F. Rowley Alternative School.  Tickets are $12/couple or $7/single before
the event and $15/couple or $8/single ticket at the door.
