jer:

Your comments to the Rosenburger's are, once again, ignorant. You criticize
them by saying that "maybe everyone else is not as well off" as them. You
say this and you know nothing of their financial situation; how hard they
have strugged to return home; nor do you even know enough about their
neighborhood to comment on the abandoned properties around them.

Considering the numerous comments you subject us to each day, for once,
please deal in facts. Enough of your opinions.

"The vain is popping out in my neck right now. Some complain that
St Bernard government has not given them enough time to repair their homes.
I'm not great at math but hasn't it been 42 months (3-1/2 years) since
Katrina -- when is enough time?" --The Rosenburgers to TP.

Jer Responds:

Oh, ya do warm my heart to the fullest <G> Speaking about--is that
same vein attached to any part of the heart? Or perhaps wired to an
ice-cube?

When is enough time? Obviously not everyone is as well off as you
are Rosenbergers!

I say, since all have loss something, and not all have the
abilities, let's just bring the poor unfortunates to the guillotine and
behead them for "Not doing their duty and being whole again, for being in
dire straits financially, for not pleasing some who would rather send those
who are poor in finances and spirit packing out of the parish, for shaming
those who have struggled for 3 years and might take another 10 years to feel
better about themselves? Or, perhaps for those who need a voice to rally
behind when all hope seems lost and you're shouting at them, even though
they cannot afford a mental health clinic, because they had to get their
house wired?

--shameful.

Besides, those time-frames can get people in trouble, placed in
prison or thrown from office for slamming their only possession--the land
they must sit on in hopes they can get more finances, etc. during this
troubled economy. Laugh if you will, Rosenburgers. Let's hope all goes well
on your end that you won't have to plead your best supplication for mercy
someday.
