My heart is in St. Bernard Parish with the brave inhabitants. My empty core is left somewhere--which I don't recognize, legitimize, favor, understand, accept, protect - nor accept blame for either.

This is the correct answer I'd bet 90% of departed would rather not admit. 

Perhaps points of views can be skewed by misconception and bias, blindsided by pride or success, but one thing is certain.

We all must be accountable for our actions. I know I will be when the time accountable to me runs low. I'm not always right, but try to be equally righteous when the occasion asks me for a decision.
