Crawfish Festival at the Government Complex grounds March 26-29

Food, rides, music & crafts will greet expected crowds of 100,000 plus
visitors



The Louisiana Crawfish Festival will be held Thursday, March 26 through
Sunday March 29 with food, rides, music and crafts as it enjoys its second
year back at the grounds of the Government Complex and Civic Center
properties located in Chalmette.



The festival committee enjoys sharing the enthusiasm promulgated throughout
St. Bernard Parish. Spokesperson Fred Billiot said the committee would very
much like to see all St. Bernard Parish businesses and residents join in the
festive activities celebrating the return of St. Bernard Parish.



"The Louisiana Crawfish Festival draws approximately 100,000 patrons,
annually to St. Bernard Parish. It generates thousands of dollars of income
to other parish businesses," Billiot said.



LOUISIANA CRAWFISH FESTIVAL: OPERATING HOURS 2009



Thursday, March 26th: 5 to 10 p.m.

Friday, March 27th: 5 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, March 28th: Noon to 11 p.m.

Sunday, March 29th: Noon to 10 p.m.



Individual ride tickets may be purchased during normal operating hours.
Pay-One-Price tickets at $20.00 per session per rider may be purchased for
the following sessions:

Thursday, March 26th: 6 to 10 p.m.

Friday, March 27th: 6 to 10 p.m.

Saturday, March 28th: 1 to 5 p.m. & 6 to 10 p.m.

Sunday, March 29th: 1 to 5 p.m. & 6 to 10 p.m.
