The Port of New Orleans Florida Avenue Bridge across the Inner
Harbor-Navigational Canal has resumed full operations since sustaining flood
damage due to Hurricane Gustav. The bridge can now be raised and lowered 24
hours a day, seven days a week to accommodate marine, rail, and vehicular
traffic.

The Florida Avenue and St. Claude bridges open for marine traffic when
requested, except that, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to
5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, the bridge does not have to open for the
passage of vessels. There is no curfew on federal holidays, Saturdays or
Sundays. The bridges will open during curfew if a vessel is in distress or
the USCG or Harbo Police has a maritime emergency.
