Help us Protect Louisiana Employers and Jobs from Lawsuit Abuse
Tell Your Senator to Support this Common Sense Bill

Contact Your State Senator <http://click.ilrmail.org/t/352395/33968227/3399/0/> For too long, trial lawyers have been able to use so-called "E-discovery" loopholes in lawsuits as a way to increase the cost and the threat of lawsuits for Louisiana employers.

Senator Jack Donahue's E-Discovery Fairness Bill would restore fairness to our legal system by making those who sue pay their fair share for unreasonable requests for documents.

Louisiana's State Senate Judiciary Committee will be discussing Senator Donahue's discovery fairness legislation this week.

The common sense reforms in this legislation would protect fairness in the court room -- while cutting down on costs and abuse that threatens Louisiana employers and jobs.
