"Fuel" Announces Summer Youth Calendar

St. Bernard Parish President's Office announces new name for Youth Program 

 

The St. Bernard Parish Youth Program has been officially named "Fuel," with
the tagline, "igniting the youth of St. Bernard." The program from Parish
President Craig Taffaro's office targets middle school and high school aged
students, providing fun and positive environments for students to interact
with each other and positive role models.

 

Fuel Middle School Events

 

May 29:    School's Out Swim Party-Buccaneer Villa North Swim Club

June 12:   Movie and City Park

June 30:   Blue Bayou

July 14:    Audubon Zoo

July 29:    Mall/Skate Country

August 7:  Laser Tag

 

Fuel High School Events

 

June 13:         Amazing Race

July 7:             Blue Bayou

July 15:           Paintball at LAX Paintball in Slidell

July 31:           Luau in the Park (A dance)

 

 

Students need to pre-register by calling Abbey Flaherty, SBPG Youth
Coordinator at 224-1653.  More information will be given about each event at
that time, as well as guaranteeing a spot for the event requested.  All
events will have appropriate adult supervision. 

 

To attend an event, each student must have a signed waiver form by their
legal parent/guardian on file.  Waivers can be found online at www.sbpg.net
<http://www.sbpg.net/>  under the Recreation Department, or at the event.
Waivers are valid for one year from date signed.  Students will not be
allowed to attend without a waiver.
