St. Bernard Parish teen booked in juvenile rape case

A 17-year-old St. Bernard Parish male has been booked with five counts of
aggravated rape of a juvenile under the age of 12, the Sheriff's Office
said. 

The Sheriff's Office would not identify the teen because the alleged crimes
occurred between 2007-2008, when he was a juvenile, authorities said Friday.


The Sheriff's Office said the victim, a boy, was allegedly raped five times
during the period. He was 10 years old at the time of the first alleged
attack, the Sheriff's Office said. 

His alleged attacker was 15 at the time of the first incident. 

The arrested teen is being held in the St. Bernard Parish Juvenile Detention
Center.
