HEART OF CHALMETTE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

The Heart of Chalmette Neighborhood Association elected officers at their
formation meeting on Friday, July 17, 2009.  Newly elected are Cathy Oster
as Treasurer, Bob Newman as President, Ray Dauterive as Vice President,
Kerry Cavignac as Secretary, and Julie Landry as Event Coordinator.  The
newly formed association encompasses the neighborhoods bounded by Jackson
Ave. on the west, Judge Perez Dr. on the south, Paris Rd. on the east, and
the 40 arpent canal to the north.  Any residents in the area interested in
joining the association can contact Secretary Kerry Cavignac at
