St. Bernard Parish President's Office Youth Program Continues Summer Events
on Aug. 7th

Middle school students from around St. Bernard Parish came together to spend
a day at the Oakwood Mall and at Skate Country as part of "Fuel," the youth
program started by St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro's Office.

Students had a great time hanging out with friends and meeting new ones.
Whether a roller skating pro or one who spends more time on the floor than
on feet, students and chaperones laced up their skates and circled the rink.
Students raced their friends, played Four Corners and requested their
favorite songs.

The last summer event for Middle School Students is Friday, August 7th at
The Jungle. "Fuel" will be packing The Jungle with middle school students
from St. Bernard from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. The night includes unlimited laser
tag, pizza, snacks and arcade games. Students need to pre-register by
Thursday, August 6th by calling SBPG Youth Coordinator, Abbey Flaherty at
224-1653. Only middle school students will be allowed at this event.
