Here's a fine example of absurdity. A $300-400 haircut to make him look
pretty to da public; fathering an illegitimate bastid while running for the
president of the United States and lying through his teeth about it; wanting
to marry the mother as soon as "da old lady dying of cancer" passes on; and
legitimizing what he did with statements that would knock Lincoln's hat off
while he's reclining in his grave?

Such is the masterwork of John Edwards. This example of legend strengthens
the song, "Stand by yo' man" with grief to everyone but this couple.

Now THIS is an example of a real legend for decades to come.
