Funny Math: Obama's Deceptive Stimulus Report Card
Melancon-Supported Recovery.org Saves Jobs In Fictional Districts

that the White House's Recovergy.org, which is charged with demonstrating
where taxpayer stimulus money is being spent, is showing jobs "created or
saved" in Louisiana Congressional Districts that simply do not exist - like
the 8th and 26th Congressional Districts.  Currently, Louisiana has just
seven congressional districts and that number may deminish soon.

"Charlie Melancon supported the reckless and wasteful Obama 'stimulus'
package, and assured Louisiana taxpayers that the money would be spent
wisely," said Republican Party of Louisiana Chairman Roger F. Villere, Jr.,
"but not a week goes by without new reports of wasteful spending.  Today
we've learned that Obama, Melancon, and Washington liberals will even create
fictional congressional districts in an attempt to distort the record of
their failed policies.  It's long past time for Charlie Melancon to explain
his support for Obama's wasteful spending.  Voters in Louisiana aren't
looking for another Obama Yes Man in the U.S. Senate."
