[StBernard] Rush Limbaugh's experience sends loud message

Today on his radio show, Rush Limbaugh talked about the medical incident he
recently experienced while vacationing in Hawaii. He explained that he paid
cash for all the medical care he received, not using any kind of insurance
coverage. The hospital administrator explained to Rush that because he was
paying cash, the total medical bill for his care cost 35% less than what
they would have charged an insurance company, had he used such insurance.
The hospital administrator further explained this is typical for any
hospital or medical clinic.

Does anyone realize the implications from this? Had Rush had insurance and
used it, it would have cost the insurance company and all of its policy
holders 35% more. Thus, if Obama and the Democrats healthcare reform had
been in place, the total medical cost for Rush (and any insurance
company/policy holders) would have been significantly higher. Or, if Rush
would have had a "government option" medical plan, it would have cost
American taxpayers significantly more. And, if you chose "not" to have any
insurance, then you would have been penalized a tax/fee or be put in jail
under the Obama care plan for getting a cheaper medical bill.

Can everyone see how this Obamacare healthcare reform is NOT making any
sense? Is everyone beginning to see how being forced to carry medical
insurance will in fact make the cost of medical care higher? This is why no
one should be forced to do anything they don't want when it comes to
healthcare.
