A Gretna man was booked with having a gun on school property after an
altercation at a St. Bernard Parish gymnasium Thursday, authorities said.

Patrick Roublow, 35 of Gretna was arrested Thursday afternoon at a Trist
Middle School basketball game, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office said.

Roublow had been involved in an argument with a woman inside the gym around
5:30 p.m. The woman, identified as Lakesha Hamelton, 32, of Violet,
allegedly pushed Roublow during the argument, authorities said.

At some point, Roublow went to his vehicle. When he tried to re-enter the
gym with a handgun in the waistband of his pants he was denied entry and
school officials called the Sheriff's Office.

Roublow was booked with possessing a firearm on school property and
disturbing the peace. He was released on $5,000 bond Friday, the Sheriff's
Office said.

Hamelton was booked with disturbing the peace and simple battery for pushing
Roublow. She was released on $1,000 bond, the Sheriff's Office said.
