John, my favorite part of the presentation was when Drew was holding his
young son in his arms, pointing to things and I'll swear the man was
misty-eyed. He realized that wasn't just a win for a football team but for
an entire area. And what sweet vindication for him for San Diego letting
him go! LOL!! --JY

Most of us did get that impact from watching our hero (not savior, not
Breesus or other blasphemy given by a godless group). His son, Baylen, who
will grow up to know such a dad and mom of class, most of us has never or
will ever know.

Also, Drew's comments did happen to mention "entire gulf coast region" in
his "destiny speech". What disturbed many who listened to broadcasters,
announcers and players is the entire point of emphasis: New Orleans. New
Orleans, New Orleans and yes, the lower ninth ward.

No word by any sportscaster, etc. was there mention to what Drew mentioned
and St. Bernard didn't even get a whisper about the damage here to the
people who bore the brunt of the storm.

How ignorant those are that believe the liberal media with their socialist
agenda to include only those who lived in the lower ninth ward and the "city
of New Orleans".

The Team might be called the New Orleans Saints (in which I am a huge fan
since its inception in 1966 to today". But it's the Louisiana Superdome and
must include the state and those displaced, and those who lend their support
outside the states as non-native fans.

Moreover, the "abstinence" (in the level of intensity) of those from St.
Bernard, state and those affected by Rita and Katrina was affected. It was a
golden opportunity to draw attention, nationally/internationally to our
beloved St. Bernard's needs and condition. Even a "statement" by fatcat,
O-B-1, left out the consideration, but liked the others stressed ONLY an
area overwhelmingly minority in favor of any other's needs for attention.

But that's all right. Every DOG has its day and God knows who the scoundrels
and mongrels are from the inside outward.
