[StBernard] SUBWAY ON PARIS ROAD OPENS

Family, friends and St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce officials gathered at
the ribbon cutting of the new Subway at 3517 Paris Road. The restaurant on
the corner of Paris Road and Genie Street in Chalmette is adjacent to
Ponstein’s Food Store. Owner Neil Ponstein and his fiancé Nicole Legasse
accepted a proclamation from St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro,
Jr. 

The store is opened Mondays through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. On
Sundays, the hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The phone number is 278-1492.
