Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center Auditorium & Ballroom Employees

St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro, Jr. is proud to announce the
upcoming reopening of the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center Auditorium.
Applications for employment are being accepted for positions in both the
Auditorium and Ballroom of the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center located at
8245 W. Judge Perez Dr in Chalmette. 

 

Areas of part time employment that are available include concession servers,
bartenders, floor cleanup and setup personnel, ushers, and event floor
manager. The hours are to be determined based on availability of scheduled
events. 

 

Applications can be found in the Recreation Department on the second floor
of the Government Complex at 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr. in Chalmette. All
positions are scheduled to be filled by May 3, 2010. All applicants must be
18 or older and will be required to own a Louisiana Responsible Vendors
Certification card. 

 

A Responsible Vendors Class will be held May 15, 2010 from 9 a.m. to noon in
the Ballroom located at 3220 Jean Lafitte Parkway. The cost for the class is
set at $40 which includes the class, handbook, and 4-year certification
card. This class will also be open to the public for anyone who serves
alcohol and wishes to gain certification or renewal of certification. The
cost of the class will be decreased as the attendees count increases. Please
