Members get unlimited access to Fuel Youth Center during its hours and
discounts on field trips

This summer, the St. Bernard Parish President's Office is introducing the
Fuel Summer Membership. The Fuel Youth Center, which opened with
afterschool hours in November 2009, will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Thursdays each week beginning June 1st and ending August 5th.

The membership is open to students entering grades 6 through 9. Fees will
be $50 per student, the second child in a family would be charged a
discounted membership of $45 and any children after that in the family would
be charged a membership of $40.

The Youth Membership gives students access to the Youth Center during all
open hours, which are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through
Thursdays. Students that are members also receive $2 off any field trip or
event held by Fuel during the same summer dates. Summer field trips will
include Blue Bayou, Skate Country, bowling, and more. The Fuel Youth Center
also will hold various events at the center such as Tournament Tuesdays,
which will include dodgeball, basketball, video game, and Bunco tournaments.
Non-members will be charged $5 per day upon entrance.

Fuel is currently taking applications for summer membership and is offering
an early registration price of $40 per student through May 19th. Discounted
registration for siblings is not offered for early registration.
