[StBernard] Master Plan

	 Ref; Message 5 reference to "master land use plan".  According to a
response I received from the head of the planning commission  that states
that SBPG has not created a master plan which is copied below.  
	 
	 Do we or don't we have a master land use plan that was supposed to
be approved based on  the below resolution:   
	 
	 Resolution 74-03-06 :  to establish procedures at neighborhood
level for determining the location and extent of mitigation and development
areas under the SBP Master Plan and for activating those procedures in a
timely manner. 03/21/06.

	I am not familiar with that particular resolution. However, I know
that SBPG has not created a master plan."

	This zoning change on Esteban and Aycock, in the 1600 blocks, was
submitted
	by the Planning Commission.  It contains one property which was
recently
	denied this same zoning change by the Council.  Last Planning
Commission
	meeting included discussion of re-zoning all of Judge Perez and St
Bernard
	Hwy properties 250 feet back.  The commission discussed doing this
re-zoning
	in fragments or piecemeal, beginning in Arabi from the Barracks to
the Rail
	Road Tracks and then re-zoning St Bernard Hwy from the Barracks to
the Rail
	Road tracks and then doing another strip or piece of this master
land use
	plan change.
