[StBernard] Interesting essay on the history of Propaganda began by progressive Socialists

Here's something that will really make the progressive-socialist/communist
angry...and it comes from someone they respect and hold in high regard -
Noam Chomsky.  Chomsky is exceptionally respected in just about any academia
ideology.  Below is a link to something he wrote back in 2002.

Pay close attention to what he says about "propaganda" - particularly the
part about how propaganda specialists come up with slogans stated in such a
way that they have no real meaning, but make it hard for anyone to be
against because people really don't know what the slogan means (i.e. "Do we
need change?" or "Change we can believe in").  Does this sound like someone
we know and a political party that conned Americans into voting for them?
And remember, the liberals and Democrats "love" Chomsky.

Also, note that much of what you've been hearing Glenn Beck talk about on
his tv show regarding the history of propaganda and how President Woodrow
Wilson began all this mess....Chomsky talks about it.  How facsinating to
learn that Joseph Goebbels, Chief of Propaganda for Hitler and the Nazi
Party, said everything he learned about how to create and effectively carry
out propagand came directly from Woodrow Wilson and his
administration...wow! (reference Goebbels autobiograph)

The article is a bit long, but VERY, VERY informative - and impossible to
refute.
