ROBERT, La. (AP) - BP is warning of a scam in which people are being offered
training and jobs for a fee.

BP spokesman Neil Chapman said on Monday that BP does not charge to hire and
train applicants.

He also said BP is working with local authorities to find those operating
the scam and prosecute them.

The company is asking anyone who has been approached by the scammers to
contact police.

St. Bernard Parish president Craig Taffaro Jr. said he had not heard of the
scam.
