Sigur Center's first comedy show Stand Up St Bernard! to benefit the Youth
Rescue Initiative of St. Bernard July 17

The Sigur Center is proud to announce its first comedy show Stand Up St
Bernard! to benefit the Youth Rescue Initiative of St. Bernard Saturday,
July 17, 2010 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20. Tickets may be purchased by going
online at www.sigurcenter.com or by calling 504-278-1875 Mondays through
Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ticket box office is open every Tuesday
from 8:30 a.m.to 4 p.m. at the Sigur Center 8245 West Judge Perez Drive in
Chalmette. The box office also will be open two hours before the event.

The comedy show will feature the following entertainers:

* Host Scotland Green has been delighting a variety of audiences for
the past five years with his wonderful jokes. Born on the mean streets of
Algiers, Green has done stand-up all over Louisiana and has appeared in
Mississippi, Texas, and Florida.
Featuring: Carey Bee & James Cusimano
* Headliners: Jodi Borello & RedBean
* Special Guest Bobby Frilot, a comedian/actor/writer/producer, was
born and raised in New Orleans. In high school Frilot transferred from
McMain Magnet (where he shared gym class with rapper Lil Wayne) to Chalmette
High School in St. Bernard Parish. As a teenage father, Frilot chose
fatherhood over personal ambitions until he could balance both. On April 5,
2006, he broke out into the local comedy scene. Four years later, he still
performs weekly at the Carrollton Station uptown. Frilot's standup act is
raw, real, and relevant. His depiction on the different, yet not so
different cultures he's experienced is translated very accurately on stage.

Come out and support a great cause with a little comic relief! For questions
or information, call Kristin Hartenstein or Melissa Jurisich at
504-278-1506.
