Community meeting Friday with marine toxicologist that studied Exxon Valdez
oil spill 

 

Dr. Riki Ott, a marine toxicologist from Alaska who is one of the leading
authorities on the science that emerged from the Exxon Valdez oil spill,
will give a public presentation for fishermen and residents Friday, July 9
at 4 p.m. in the St. Bernard Parish Council Chambers, 8201 W. Judge Perez
Drive in Chalmette.

 

The event is being coordinated by George Barisich, president of the United
Commercial Fishermen Association and St. Bernard Parish Councilman Fred
