Radio station Power 102.9(KKND-FM) is bringing the summer of 2010 to a close
with the biggest TEEN show this year, featuring an all-star roster of some
of the biggest names in hip hop!!!!! Power 102.9 presents the Back-to-School
Power Jam starring Capitol Recording artists California Swag District, plus
Sony/Roc Nation's J Cole, Def Jam recording artist YG, E1 recording artist
Dorrough, Mysitkal, PNC, Kourtney Heart, Detroit, y.luck, Kris Batiste,
Cymia, Na'Tee and 9th Ward Gucci, Mr. Tony, SESS45, and 9th Ward Gucci and
more Plus the Definition DJs and the Power 102.9 Superstars...The big show
is Saturday September 18th at 3pm at the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center in
Chalmette.  This is an all ages show and this show will sell out!!!. A
significant portion of the proceeds will benefit the Civic Center!   
 
"We worked with the parish on a benefit show for Violet Park #2 at the House
of Blues a few months back, and our relationship blossomed from there.  We
certainly have a lot of Power 102.9 listeners in The Parish, and we're proud
to bring a show to the Sigur Civic Center to benefit the center," says Power
