St. Bernard Parish Oil Spill Branch to host a response community seafood
boil and fish fry on Monday

The St. Bernard Oil Spill Branch would like to take the opportunity to
acknowledge the fishermen and responders who have assisted in the response
to the MC 252 Deepwater Horizon Incident for over 140 days. It has been
challenging for everyone involved, and the Branch is thankful for all of the
hard work that everyone has put into the effort.

To acknowledge these efforts, the Branch will be hosting a seafood boil and
fish fry this Monday, September 6th at Torres Park in Chalmette. Torres Park
is located directly behind the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center. Food will be
served starting at 12:30 p.m. The menu will feature locally harvested boiled
Gulf shrimp, BBQ'ed Gulf shrimp, Baked Redfish Couvillion, fried catfish and
soft shell crabs. There will also be live entertainment on hand.

This event is being held for MC 252 Deepwater Horizon responders and their
families, it is not open to the general public.
