Warrant Out For Arrest Of Chalmette Teenager For Burglary Of House In July 

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in
finding a Chalmette teen-ager wanted for the July burglary of a house in
Chalmette and is a suspect in other burglaries in St. Bernard Parish,
possibly with others, Chief Deputy Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of David P. Smith, 17, who lived on Old
Hickory Drive, should call the Sheriff's Office at (504) 271-2501 or the
group Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.

Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction may
be eligible for a reward. A warrant for Smith's arrest was issued by a
judge. A television stolen in the burglary was recovered in the Gulfport
area.
