"...She said Dardenne in his current job of secretary of state and in charge
of elections should be doing a better job of promoting voter access."  In
translation: busing black people to the polls and allowing 52 minorities to
be registered at the same 1-bedroom apartment who just recently were
registered in other states.  "That" is what she means by "promoting voter
access.'
 
This girl is a New York City attorney who has really lived in Louisiana for
years - she's just maintained an address here.  All she's interested in is
building up her law practice by going after BP - her main campaign stump
which has nothing to do with the Lt. Governor's office.
 
Jay Dardene was the senator that co-authored and pushed through the "Term
Limits" legislation (along with David Vitter in the state house) as well as
the leading the fight (along with Vitter) to end the state inheritance tax.
