"Not when it says he's leaving for (another) fund raising trip Jerry. --JY"

Jer Responds:

What point about fund-raising don't you get, JY? Has Obama quit or the
Clintons ceased their fundraising? How about hundreds of other governors,
senators, and state officials? In the political arena, helping to support
their party is about as natural as growing grass in one's yard. It only
helps, when fertilizer is added to improve the looks!

Every (and I say "everyone") politician uses political clout (especially
popular ones) to help stump for their political allies. At some point, it's
possible the stumper will gain national and international recognition in the
political world to advance. That's just about how it goes and has been for
hundreds of years.

How it helps the area is what is important. Popular, honest politicians
(unlike Blago) can stimulate the area more than you or I realize. If (and I
say if) at some point, Bobby decides to move his face and name recognition
to the upper echelons of the national stage, it is quite possible, Louisiana
would benefit enormously from that groundwork he's paved.

And, if you're not in agreement that he's doing a good job, what difference
does it make to you that someone else will be taking his place at some point
(either at the end of his term or during)?

Compared to the other non-influential and clowns who were governor for eons,
he's bypassed them in ideology, performance, positioning, etc. if only that
he sat down in his office 12 hrs. a day.

An ambassador to the state can bring in more awareness to our state and
communities than one who is never seen in the streets or around the country
representing the state.

Yes, fund-raising not only superiority helps advance his power to the state,
he proves great Americans can come from Louisiana--and that means WE can
benefit to the hilt.

Follow this philosophy or not, he's got the golden touch and the country
(except for the envious Liberal/Socialists and of course, in which you're
not one of this poisonous groupings) will be much better with his name in
the limelight and his experience and energy forever-growing for us in that
regard. Bobby is great for Louisiana, the country and the world--if his
aspirations lead successfully to that goal. I don't think we've even touched
the possibility of greatness that we've yet to experience.
