Fuel hosts Game Night at Andrew Jackson Middle School Nov. 13

Dodgeball, Basketball and other large group games bring sixth-eighth grade
students together

Fuel, the youth activities program from St. Bernard Parish President Craig
Taffaro's office, will host its third event of the school year - a Game
Night on Saturday, November 13th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This year with the
addition of a third middle school, Fuel will reach out to other schools to
give students more access to activities near their homes. The November 13th
Game Night will be held at Andrew Jackson Middle School, and the December
4th Game Night will be held at Trist Middle School.

Game Nights start with an open gym where students can play basketball,
volleyball or other pick up games. After most students have arrived, they
break up into teams and compete in events like dodgeball, ultimate frisbee,
gator ball, protect the president, and other group games. Students from all
middle schools in the parish in sixth through eighth grades are allowed to
participate. Game Night is FREE for everyone, but concessions will be
available for purchase.

Each student needs an updated liability waiver on file in order to enter.
The recreation liability waiver can be signed at the door or found on
www.sbpg.net under the Fuel Youth Center tab. You can also find up to date
information on this page about upcoming events, as well as the link to
Fuel's facebook page.

Adult supervision is provided at every Fuel event. For more information on
the program or events, please contact Abbey Flaherty, SBPG Youth Coordinator
at 224-1653 or aflaherty at sbpg.net.
