A Knight's Gift: Toy and Doll giveaway Sunday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. at Sigur
Civic Center Grand Ballroom 

 

"It's that Christmas Season that ignites Knights of Columbus #5747 to gear
up rapidly for this year's Christmas Gift give-away known as A Knight's
Gift," announces Chairman Cisco Gonzales. He further commented that his
members stated, "We're lit up and ready to put a smile on all children's
faces regardless of economic status. We expect a large crowd due to the blow
to the economy and rise in unemployment and we are prepared".


The Knights of Columbus Rummel Council 5747 will holds its annual A  Knights
Gift toy and doll giveaway event Sunday, December 12 at 2 p.m. at the Sigur
Civic Center Grand Ballroom at 8220 Jean Lafitte Parkway in Chalmette. Free
gifts will be given to children from Santa Claus, and there will be hot dogs
and free rides provided by Mitchell Amusements. Children are allowed one
gift, and the event is for children from birth to age 12.
