Citizens and hometown bred people of St. Bernard are more than saddened by
the "hi-jacking" or annexing of St .Bernard Parish by the Nawlin's Crowd.
It is their purpose to punish the great citizens of St . Bernard Parish for
its history to keep its citizens safe, its schools top-notch and the
community vibrant.

With the advent of intrusion into da Parish's citizens lives and futures,
there won't be diversity but instead, 'adversity" where conditions of
stress, anxiety, and loss of safety will replace the serenity all St.
Bernardians have endeared and cherished for many, many years.

If you thought Syl, that the press listings of criminal activity has been
enormous this past decade, wait until the "ghettos" rise and the criminals
do their activity. AND, it won't only be at night. You can expect crime to
be prevalent during daytime hours, as well.

This certainly will play in the decision to appease what is about to occur
in the next couple of years or to make the ultimate decision. Either way,
there is no faulting, guilt or blame placed on one who is fearful at the
expense of their family's welfare.

This socialistic decision is about to ruin many lives as the years pass.
One cannot pray enough against what is to occur in da parish as it has in my
boyhood home in New Orleans during the 40's and 50's.

I'm sickened as well. -- and beyond that to see the decadence and feel
totally hopeless and helpless to fight the system's ability to worsen a good
thing--safety and lives' happiness.

-----------------------------------------------------
I went to a funeral today & got sick to my stomach to see the start of the
projects behind the funeral home. I iimmediately thought that I would be
very hesitant to attend any services at night knowing that this development
will be there. If I was going to Nunez, I would feel the same way. Later, I
passed on Judge Perez & got even sicker when I saw the construction going on
there. Guess I will try to avoid going to the hospital at night, also. And
since one is also going to be by Wal-Mart. I guess night time trips there
will be eliminated, too. Until a week and a half ago. I was very happy to be
back home. Now I am seriously considering moving out of the parish since I
am no longer happy or will feel safe here. One project would be way more
than enough. Why four ? So HUD uses black mail & we have to suffer.
