Chalmette High holds its first Fighting Owl Fishing Classic Saturday, May 21

The first Chalmette High Fighting Owl Fishing Classic to benefit CHS
athletics will be held Saturday, May 21 at Breton Sound Marina in St.
Bernard Parish, announces CHS Athletic Director David Brossette.

Entry fee is adults $30 and children under 15 years-old is $20 which
will include a t-shirt, food and drinks. Kids under 15 with a fishing entry
adult will receive a special gift. Non-fishing participant fee is $20 per
person which will also include food and drinks.

Scales open at noon and close at 3 p.m. sharp. Registration and Diddy
Bag distribution opens at 10 a.m.

Pickup tickets at Chalmette HS or the Law Office of Tonry, Ginart &
Jones at 2114 Paris Road in Chalmette. Makes checks payable to Chalmette
High Alumni or mail entries to CHS Alumni Rodeo at 2020 Landry Ct, Meraux,
LA 70075.

If companies or corporations would like to become a sponsor of the
event there are various levels of sponsorship. The White level ($100) for
name on sponsor board and one fishing entry. The Maroon level ($250) for
name on sponsor board, t-shirt, food, beverages and 2 entries.

The Fighting Owl level ($500) for company logo incorporated on sponor
board and back of Rodeo t-shirts, but space is limited, food, beverages and
five entries.

The highest level is the Flying Owl ($1000) will get company logo
incorporated on sponsor board and bak of rodeo t-shirts, food, beverages and
10 entries.

Two more sponsor levels are kid division sponsor is $2500 and Adult
Division Sponsor is $2500. Company logo across sponsor board and Top Back of
Rodeo t-shirt, food, beverages, appreciation award and 20 fishing entries.

First, second and third place prizes in kids' categories are trout,
drum, bass, flounder, sheephead and redfish.

First and second place in adult categories are redfish under 27 inches,
redfish over 27 inches, flounder, drum, bass, sheephead, Big Fish and
speckled trout.

Cash prize for 5 trout stringer. Limit one entry per person per
category. Same fish cannot be used in multiple categories.

Ginart, McInnis, Jones and Brossette urge all their friends whether they
are Chalmette graduates are not to come out and enjoy a fun day of fishing
and telling old high school stories.
