St. Bernard Day at the Legislature highlights what St. Bernard has to offer

 

The recently held St. Bernard Parish Day at the Legislature featured a booth
on the rotunda of the Capitol between the chambers of the House of
Representatives and the Senate that featured a photo gallery, a video and
handouts illustrating what St. Bernard has to offer visitors. President
Craig P. Taffaro, Jr. also had a meeting with Gov. Jindal where he discussed
state and federal issues that affect St. Bernard. Additionally, during the
House's regular session that day, Rep. Nita Hutter, R-Chalmette, and Rep.
Reed Henderson, D-Violet recognized the St. Bernard Parish officials
present.
