St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department Firecracker Tournament June 25 at
Val Riess

Spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. to close out the tournament

 

The first Annual Firecracker Tournament will be Saturday, June 25 at Val
Riess Complex. The St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department tournament is
for the parish's Summer Recreation Baseball and Softball Leagues. Games will
begin at 9 a.m. Fifty teams are participating in the tournament ranging from
the 5- and 6-year-old boys and girls teams to the 11- to 13-year-old boys
and girls teams scattered on seven fields at the Val Riess Complex. Gate
entry fees are $2 per adult and $1 per child under age 12.
